How We Started
During Spring 2019, Alex Quian decided that he wanted to use his college summer break to serve the DFW community. Unsure of what he should do next, he shared this idea with his mentor, who then challenged Alex to immerse himself fully in service by completing 30 different service projects in 30 days.
Alex accepted this challenge and created an initiative called 30 Days of Service. Throughout July 2019, he completed projects such as starting a reading program at a local Boys & Girls Club, serving breakfast to seniors, providing kits with dorm essentials to first generation college students, and more.
As a result of this initiative, over 1,800 individuals were impacted in the DFW area and Alex had the privilege of working with more than 20 different organizations.
